This year I have had the fantastic opportunity of taking my karting to an international level when I raced in the ‘C50 Bambino Karting Winter Testing’ in Valencia, Spain this year.

The track in Valencia was much bigger than I was used to and I was glad to have the advice and support of the team during the week. During the walk around each day I was told how to drive around each part of the track – advice which I tried really hard to follow.

‘The Boss’ helped me to improve my track times every session and track side support was continuous- thank you Mark.

Day 1 of testing was very wet and my number one engine which we needed hours on ready for ‘ Super One’ caused a number of issues and forced me to retire it after failing to complete a single session all morning- thank you for all of your help Jordan.

We used our number 3 engine to complete the week which was disappointing but due to team advice, support and good weather I managed to finish the week in 5th position on final day. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of driving on an international track – although I can’t say my dad enjoyed international driving quite so much!

I look forward to being a part of the MBM Team this year when I compete in the ‘Super One National Championships.
